First, the threads only need to be lightly oiled; A43 is designed for direct application to lightly oiled components.

Can I undo a bolt locked with A43?

Yes. A43 is a medium strength threadlock, so the fastener can be disassembled later using the correct tools. For a permanent lock, use the high strength A70.

What is the difference between A43 and A70?

A43 is medium strength and removable, replacing spring washers and lock nuts. A70 is high strength for permanent retention and sealing of studs, bearings and sleeves, and cannot be dismantled once set. Choose A43 for serviceable joints, A70 for permanent ones.
