The Bond-It Aluminium Solar Reflective Paint is designed for roofs, acting as a light and heat reflector to reduce heat gain. This aluminium coating provides a high level of protection against solar degradation while maintaining the performance of the surface beneath.

Suitable for use over bituminous coatings, aged asphalt and primed steel, and for the refurbishment of aged steel roofing. Applied in two coats it offers a superior alternative to chippings, reducing heat build-up and giving a reflective finish. Apply using a brush or mohair roller.

Apply two coats, allowing the first to dry fully before applying the second. Do not apply when rain, frost or overnight dew are expected before the coating is dry, as bronzing of the surface may result. Over bituminous surfaces, apply the thinnest coat necessary to obliterate the black colour of the bitumen, and keep the second coat thin. Avoid the formation of pools.
