What does SNR 37dB mean?

SNR (Single Number Rating) is the average noise reduction the protector gives, so it cuts noise at the ear by roughly 37 decibels. Aim to bring the level at the ear to 70-80dB; over-protecting can leave you cut off from warning signals and speech.

How should I fit foam ear plugs?
