This black Butyl Tape is a synthetic rubber-based high performance preformed strip sealant.

Carefully selected fillers provide the product with good chemical resistance. The product is designed for joining plastic sheeting such as DPCs and DPMs and for sealing joints in more aggressive environments, such as slurry tanks.

Applications include:

• For joining plastic sheeting such as DPCs and DPMs.
• For sealing a variety of joints in roofing and cladding systems.
• For use as a gap-filling sealant in body-in-white applications on vehicles.
• For sealing joints in more aggressive environments, such as slurry tanks.
