Bond-It HVC16 is a high viscosity cyanoacrylate adhesive designed for fast, reliable bonding across a wide range of materials. Developed specifically for PVCu, plastics and rubber, it is also highly effective on porous surfaces and offers excellent gap-filling capabilities. This makes it ideal for bonding trims, caps and mouldings on PVCu windows, as well as rubber, timber, metal, ceramics, MDF, leather, porcelain, card and many other materials. Set time ranges from 10 to 30 seconds depending on conditions and substrate. Supplied as a single refill for Mitre Kits.

Application

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil and other contaminants. Apply a thin film of adhesive to one surface only, then bring the components together immediately. A small adjustment window of 2–3 seconds is available before curing begins. Maintain light, steady pressure without movement for at least 10 seconds. Avoid handling until the stated bonding time has elapsed. Clamping briefly can help achieve optimum bond strength.

As cyanoacrylates cure through atmospheric moisture, best results are achieved when relative humidity is above 50%. Higher humidity reduces evaporation, limiting fume build-up. Ensure good ventilation, particularly during continuous use.
