First, make sure all surfaces are clean, dry and grease free.

Next, apply the adhesive to one surface only and bring the components together immediately.

Then align them perfectly first time, because once joined the parts cannot be repositioned. Hold still while the bond takes.

Finally, keep the area ventilated. To accelerate the cure or bond an awkward surface, use our Superglue Activator. For gap-filling or porous work, choose our HVC16 high viscosity superglue instead.

What is RGC best for?

Bonding rubbers and plastics, with particularly good adhesion to EPDM and SBR rubbers, so it suits rubber bush systems and similar assemblies.

Can I reposition parts after joining?

No. Align them perfectly before they touch, because once joined the components cannot be repositioned.

How is it different from HVC16?

RGC is medium viscosity and tuned for rubbers and plastics. HVC16 is high viscosity for gap-filling and porous materials. Pick RGC for flexible rubber parts, HVC16 for mitres and trims.

Can I speed up the cure?

Yes, use our Superglue Activator, which accelerates bond development and helps on difficult surfaces.

Does the cured glue resist moisture?

Yes, the cured adhesive has good humidity resistance.

Do I apply it to both surfaces?

No, apply to one surface only, then bring the parts together immediately.
