First, make sure the threads are clean. A70 is a high strength locker, so a sound, grease-controlled thread gives the best hold.

Next, coat the threads and make sure the adhesive is present at the locking position, then assemble.

After that, the adhesive begins to cure as air is excluded from the joint, and it also lubricates during assembly to help accurate torquing.

Finally, remember this is a permanent fix; once cured it cannot be dismantled. If you may need to service the joint later, use our medium strength A43 instead.

Can a joint locked with A70 be undone?
