Bond-It Contact Adhesive is a premium grade, solvent-based neoprene adhesive designed to deliver high initial grab, excellent bond strength and a long open time for accurate positioning. Suitable for professional and DIY use, it provides a strong, reliable bond across a wide range of materials.

This versatile adhesive can be used on both horizontal and vertical surfaces, including ceilings, making it ideal for bonding lightweight materials where instant grab is required. It is primarily designed for interior use but can also be used externally when protected from direct sunlight and water.

The formulation is toluene-free and offers good heat resistance, with bond strength continuing to increase after application.

Application

Apply adhesive evenly to both surfaces using a brush, scraper or notched trowel. Allow to become touch dry before bonding, then press firmly together. Handling is possible immediately, with full bond strength developing over time.

Limitations

• Not suitable for polystyrene, polythene, polypropylene, silicone rubber, bitumen or PTFE
• May affect painted or lacquered surfaces
• Not suitable for continuous water immersion
• Not suitable for use below +5°C
• Not suitable for soft (plasticised) PVC
