First, make sure the joint or surface is clean, dry and sound. LN7 bonds glass, ceramics, all metals, concrete, sealed timber, brick, most plastics, polycarbonate and painted surfaces.

Next, cut the nozzle, load the cartridge into an applicator gun and apply the bead, or use it as a bedding or potting compound as needed.

Then tool the bead within a few minutes. It sets quickly in air and gives off no solvents or corrosive vapours.

Finally, leave it to cure fully. Because it is neutral cure and non-corrosive it is ideal around glazing and electronics; for a sanitary-specific silicone see S3, and for high-temperature joints see HT30.

How is it different from HT30?

LN7 is a general-purpose neutral cure silicone for construction and glazing. HT30 is a specialist acetic silicone for high-temperature joints up to 300C. Choose by the heat exposure.
