Description

The TIMCO Low Profile Pancake Head screw is a self-drilling metal stud screw built for joining light gauge steel where the next layer has to sit flat. The head is very low and wide, so the large flat face under it beds down almost flush and won't foul a board or sheet laid over the top.

It's a medium duty metal-to-metal fixing with a Phillips PH2 drive and a self-drilling point, so there's no pre-drilling on light steel framing. A silver organic exterior coating takes it past 500 hours of salt spray, which suits framing that catches some damp during the build.
