First, remove any standing water; the surface can be damp but not flooded.

Next, cut the nozzle, load the cartridge into a gun and apply to brick, concrete, stone, metal, wood, glass, vinyl or most plastics.

Then tool the bead. For bitumen, asphalt and roofing felt it is ideal for damp-condition roof repairs.

What makes Rain-Mate all-weather?

It bonds to surfaces even when they are damp and is water-repellent, so it can be used for roof and exterior repairs in conditions that defeat ordinary sealants.

Can I use it on a roof?

Yes, being rubber-based it is compatible with bitumen, asphalt and roofing felt and is ideal for roof repairs in damp conditions, once standing water is removed.

Which colour for bitumen?

Only black is recommended on bitumen and asphalt; white and clear can discolour unsightly.

Can I paint over it?

Yes, it can be over-painted with certain paints, and it will not crack, slump or become brittle with age.
