Description

A one-part, rapid setting, flexible floor and wall tile adhesive.

Suitable for all types of ceramic floor and wall tiles, including mosaics, porcelain, natural stone and vitrified tiles. CE Approved.

Ideally suited for application onto timber panels, wood floors, plywood, composite boards and impermeable surfaces, such as existing quarry tiles, mastic asphalt and power-floated concrete without the need to include a flexi-additive in the mix. Also suitable for use in areas with limited movement or vibration including underfloor heating. Can be used internally and will set sufficiently to receive light traffic in approximately 2-3 hours.

Usage / Application

First, make sure the background is sound, clean and correctly prepared. Impermeable or timber surfaces may need the right primer, so check the data sheet.

Next, mix the powder with clean water to a smooth, lump-free paste. Mix only what you can use within the pot life, because it is rapid setting.

Then spread with a notched trowel, bed the tiles and adjust quickly. The flexible C2F formula copes with underfloor heating and slight movement.

Finally, it sets enough for light foot traffic in about 2 to 3 hours, then grout. It is for interior use; for exterior, pools or full immersion choose CTA Flexible.

FAQs

Can I tile a floor and use it the same day?

Yes. Rapid-Flex sets enough for light foot traffic in around 2 to 3 hours, so you can grout and walk on it the same day in most conditions.

Is it suitable for porcelain and natural stone?

Yes. As a C2F cement adhesive it bonds porcelain, natural stone, vitrified tiles and mosaics, on floors and walls.

Can I use it over underfloor heating?

Yes. It is flexible, so it suits underfloor heating and backgrounds with limited movement or vibration.

Do I need to add a flexible additive?

No. It is already flexible, so it bonds to timber, plywood and impermeable surfaces without a separate flexi-additive.

Grey or white, which should I choose?

Grey is the usual choice for floors and darker grout. White suits light-coloured natural stone and glass mosaics where a grey bed could show through.

Can I use it outside or in a pool?

It is for interior use. For exterior, swimming pools or full immersion, use CTA Flexible, which is fully waterproof and frost resistant.
