FAQs

What are slab nails used for?

Fixing thick materials such as insulation slabs, sarking boards and sheathing to timber. The long shank and wide head suit deep, soft materials.

How long are slab nails?

This range runs 100mm to 200mm. Pick a length that passes through the slab or board and still bites well into the timber behind.

Are slab nails suitable for outdoor use?

They carry a galvanised coating, corrosion rating 2, for sheltered and occasionally damp exterior work. For exposed or coastal conditions, choose stainless steel.
