Square twist nails are the high-grip nail for timber connectors. The twisted square shank drives in with a screwing action and resists pull-out, so it holds joist hangers, framing anchors and truss plates fast. Galvanised carbon steel (corrosion rating 2) in 30mm and 40mm, sold loose by weight, and conforming to Eurocode 5 service class 2.
