What does S3 mean on a work boot?
The S3 rating means it is a 200 joule toecap, penetration resistant midsole, water resistant upper and a cleated energy absorbing sole, for wet and outdoor work; slip resistance tested to the 2022 footwear standard; cold insulation of the sole complex, for freezer and winter work.

What size should I order?
Portwest footwear runs in full EU sizes (37-48). If you are between sizes or wear thick socks, take the larger size.
Are they waterproof?
The upper is water resistant to shed rain and site wet. For standing water all day, choose a waterproof (S7) or wellington style.
