First, ensure every surface is clean, dry, and free from grease or dust. Because porous materials pull oils out of the bead, always prime them for the best adhesion.

For deep joints, fit a foam backer rod or Bond-It Expanding Foam to set the correct depth. Then cut the nozzle at 45° and gun the bead at +5 °C to +45 °C.

After that, tool with a Sealant Applicator Tool rather than a wet finger. Finally, protect the joint from movement for at least 3 hours. You can clean any uncured product with Bond-It White Spirit or Multi-Wipes.

What is the difference between WP70 and WP100?

Both are neutral cure LMN silicones. However, WP100 is the premium grade. It has higher elastic recovery (97%), broader EN 15651 classifications including G and XS1, and a wider colour and size range.

Can I use WP100 in wet rooms?

Yes, the XS1 sanitary classification covers wet-room joints. Plus, the built-in fungicide resists mould in showers, kitchens and bathrooms.

Can I paint WP100?

Over-painting is not recommended. Instead, specify the colour you need from the wide range.

Does WP100 stick to natural stone?

No, it is not suitable for natural stone. For stone joints, choose a dedicated stone sealant.
