What makes Xtreme mould resistant?
It contains a powerful anti-fungal biocide that retards mould, mildew and bacterial growth on the sealant, and it is guaranteed mould-free for up to 10 years.
Why does black mould keep coming back on my old sealant?
Usually because mould was sealed in underneath, or an ordinary sealant was used in a wet area. Strip the old bead fully, dry the joint, then reseal with an anti-mould silicone like Xtreme.
Where should I use it?
Showers, shower trays, baths, wet rooms, sinks and other sanitary ware, plus around frames prone to condensation. It is built for permanently damp areas.
Can I use it inside a swimming pool?
No. It suits sealing around pool areas, but it is not for use inside the pool itself.
Which colour for a shower?
Clear and white are the most common for bathrooms. Grey suits darker tiling and worktops.
How is it different from the Multi-Mate silicone?
Multi-Mate is a general purpose silicone. Xtreme is a dedicated sanitary silicone with a stronger, longer anti-mould guarantee for wet areas.
Single or box of 12?
Buy one cartridge for a single bathroom, or the trade box of 12 for regular sanitary work.
